Instead of the usual sausages and burgers for your BBQ, why not try these lamb koftas. All you need is lamb mince and some fresh coriander leaves and a jar of Nonya Secrets Rendang Curry Mix.
They are delicious served with pitta bread, wraps or couscous and a yoghurt dressing.
- 80g of Nonya Secrets Rendang Curry Mix
- 1 kg Minced lamb
- 2 Tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves
- 2 Tablespoons of desiccated coconut, lightly toasted in a dry pan
- 1 Tablespoon of olive oil, for brushing
To make the koftas put the lamb mince in a large mixing bowl and add the Rendang Curry Mix, toasted desiccated coconut and coriander leaves (optional).
Mix well and shape them over the skewers. Brush with olive oil to stop them from sticking onto the grill.
Cook over the charcoal grill for about 8-10 minutes, turning frequently.
Serve with a garlic and yoghurt dressing with lemon juice in pitta bread, as a wrap or with couscous and salad.
