Scallops will cook in minutes and is therefore a perfect starter dish for dinner parties. The ready-made Chilli and Ginger Sauce makes it even easier. Just heat and add to the scallops.
- 2 Tablespoons of Nonya Secrets Chilli and Ginger Sauce
- 12 Plump scallops
- 25g Butter
- 2 Rashers crispy fried bacon
- Rocket leaves
- Fresh cherry tomatoes, halved
Put the Chilli and Ginger Sauce in a pan with a dash of water and set aside.
Put the butter in a pan and brown the scallops a few at a time for just a minute on each side.
Be careful not to overcook the scallops.
Transfer the scallops to a serving dish garnished with rocket leaves cherry tomatoes.
Heat the pan with the Chilli and Ginger Sauce and bring to the boil.
Ladle the hot sauce onto each scallop.
Sprinkle the crispy bacon on the top and serve as a starter or small dish.
