The traditional way to use the Panang Curry Mix is to slow cook beef in the mix. This would normally take a couple of hours. This quick and easy stir fry recreates the abundant flavours of a Panang beef curry in just a few minutes.
- 1 Tablespoon of Nonya Secrets Panang Curry Mix
- 200g Beef sirloin steaks
- 100g Fine green beans
- 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 Tablespoon of fish sauce
- ½ Fresh red chilli
- 1 Lime leaf, finely shredded
Top and tail the green beans and then cut in half. Finely slice the beef steak into bite size pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok and saute the thinly sliced steaks to brown the meat.
Add the Panang Curry Mix and the green beans and stir until well mixed for a further 2-3 minutes so that the beans are just tender.
Add a tablespoon of fish sauce to taste.
Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with the chilli and lime leaf.
Best served with steamed rice or noodles.
