I cannot think of anyone who doesn’t like Satay. The thought of serving this dish at a dinner party can be daunting but here’s an easy option. The flavours would be greatly improved if you can cook the meat over a charcoal BBQ but you can cook the meat in a hot frying pan or under a hot grill.

Ingredients
- 100g Nonya Secrets Spicy Peanut Sauce
- 500g Steak
- 30g Granulated sugar
- 30g Coriander powder
- 1 Tablespoon of dark soy
- 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
Dipping sauce
Optional Garnish
- 1 Red chilli, sliced
- 1/2 Cucumber, peeled and sliced
Serves 3-4
Preparation
In a mixing bowl combine the Spicy Peanut Sauce with sugar, coriander powder and dark soy and mix well.
Rub the spice mixture into the steak and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours if time permits.
Cook the steaks over a preheated the grill or frying pan and brush the meat with vegetable oil to stop them from sticking.
When the meat is cooked, transfer onto a serving dish and serve with the Spicy Peanut Sauce, cucumber slices and red chilli.
